Digital Facilities Engineer

Objectives : 

• Ensure LCI (Life Cycle Information) data to be captured, structured and handovered during all phases of the Facility (from conception to decommissioning).
• Establish and ensure implementation of the LCI strategy along the value chain.
• Ensure the Project’s requirements (bridged with Client and OPF LCI standard requirements) in terms of LCI data management are followed. Project LCI deliverables progress as per schedule
• Coordination of LCI requirements between disciplines to meet all Project stakeholders needs

Activities :

• Monitor in detail the implementation of LCI requirements (including Company provided systems/ tools) in projects
• Coordinate with operation to ensure plant LCI requirement is implemented
• Coordinate transfer of LCI to the company’s Operation
• Perform QA/QC of technical information delivery in projects
• Validation of Data to check consistency in Tagging
• Ensure Parent –Child relationships and Document to Tag Cross references
• Assist Project LCI Lead in LCI related processes and procedures
• Preparation of Master Tag register (MTR) and ensure that it complies with all Project requirements
• Ensure Functional & Physical attributes of Equipment are captured according to the Information specification
• Support and contribute to Contractor’s work performance and deliverables by active collaboration in Contractor’s work tasks and systems
• Liaise with discipline Package Responsible Engineers and LCI champions to ensure work prioritizing and progress
• Contribute to correct deliverables within documentation and completion through active quality assurance by checking of Contractor’s engineering register data and Vendor tag attributes
• Review and check consistency of EPC indexes and vendor data in Contractor’s EDMS system
• Actively use Company’s Project Completion System to monitor progress on vendor data, Mechanical Completion Check Records, FAT reports and final documentation
• Mapping tags to Systems / Sub systems within Commissioning to check Installation progress
• Report progress by submitting and presenting weekly status reports
• Review and comment Contractor’s issuance of engineering documentation within the contractual response times defined

Processes :

Project Execution Phase :
• Provide PBS (Plant Breakdown Structure), Data Model and RDL to Engineering
• Control data/documents submission to be data-centric
• Monitor and Control Handovers to other parties

Project Handover Phase :
• Prepare Data Close out Report
• Data Transfer to Owner Company Systems
• Ensure Configuration Management is fulfilled

Key Indicators :
• Progressive handover during all phases of the project to PMC, client, O&M
• MTR, Tag Count, CFIHOS Attributes Completion

Prior Experience/Expertise Required :

• Degree within an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC).
• Previous work experience from use of project completion systems.
• Experience in working with CFIHOS, ISO15926
• Experience in working with AVEVA NET / AVEVA AIM or Intergraph Smart plant Tools like SPF (Smart Plant Foundation)
• Documented training or competence within database systems and data management.
• General knowledge of CFIHOS/ISO standards for documentation.
• Fluent skills in writing and speaking the English language is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Management / Data delivery Projects
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-discipline team, including advising and leading Contractor’s resources
